All orders placed on this site are secure. Visit us again after you have placed your order to easily track your order and view order history.

Orders are processed in the order they are received during open for business hours. Orders submitted during closed hours will be processed in the order they were received on the next open business day.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders placed during August or January may take longer to process due to higher than usual store business volume at that time.

Our inventory and pricing of course materials may vary and are subject to change. In some cases, the textbook you selected may not be available as you specified (new, used, or rental). We understand how important it is for you to have your course material in a timely manner, therefore if your preferred textbook option is not in stock when we fill your order, we will send the available option in its place and the price will be updated accordingly.

Web Order Shipping Policies

Chaffey College Campus Store offers In-store Pickup and FedEx shipping options. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items in route.

We are able to ship in-stock items within 1 or 2 business days after receipt of your paid order. Completed orders can then be obtained using one of the following methods:

  • Order Pickup: Once your order has been successfully processed and ready for pick up an email will be sent to the email attached to the order. Present this email along with your ID to retrieve your order.
  • Shipping: An email will be sent when order has been successfully processed and is out for shipment.
    • FedEx packages can take up to five business days to arrive.

Out of Stock?

Chaffey College Campus Store will do everything possible to ensure that you receive your requested textbooks however, orders may be backordered or adjustments made at the time of order processing when needed.

  • If your book(s) are backordered, you will be notified as soon as we are aware.
  • If a used textbook is not in stock when we fill your order, we will send a new textbook or Ebook in its place.
  • Likewise, if a new textbook is not in stock when your order is fulfilled, a used textbook or Ebook will be sent in its place.

In each instance, the price of the replaced item will be charged automatically.

Returns

With a Chaffey College Campus Store sales receipt or web-order invoice, items may be returned to any Chaffey College Campus Store location following the guidelines and timeframes below. Refunds are issued back via the original tender, with the exception of checks. Checks take a minimum of 10 days to clear the bank, which at that time refunds may be given in cash. Store credit will be issued, if the original credit card is no longer available.

All merchandise must be returned in the original purchase condition; shrink-wrapped or packaged products must be unopened. New textbooks must be in new selling condition, free from any marks or other signs of wear, and in original shrink-wrap, the shrink-wrap must still be intact. All accessory items (CD, information cards etc.) must also be included and undamaged. There is a $3.00 restocking fee on the return of all new textbooks ordered or purchased that have the shrink-wrap is removed, altered, or damaged in any way. This fee will not apply to: courses cancelled by the College or textbook requirements changed by the faculty member.

Course Materials Return Timeline
Fall/Spring Semester: Return within 7 days from the date of purchase.
Summer Semester/Fast Track Classes: Return within 5 days from the date of purchase.
Course materials are non-returnable: For courses ending within three weeks or less from the date of purchase.
Merchandise Return within 14 days from the date of purchase.

Non-Returnable Merchandise
Special order or Pre Paid items, Cliff Notes, Barcharts, unsealed access codes, tickets/passes, cameras, study aides, test preparation books, special orders, seasonal merchandise, shoes, and clearance items.

Defective Merchandise
Will be replaced with the exact same item within 14 days of purchase and accompanied by a Damaged Slip describing the issue.

Abandoned Orders
Orders are considered “Abandoned” if the order has not been picked up within 21 days of the order being processed. The campus store will make at least one attempt, via phone call or email, to contact the customer during this period of time to inquire about picking up the order. After this period, a store credit can be issued by customer request.

Returns by Mail
Return is postdated within 14 days from the date of purchase and items are accompanied by the purchase receipt or web-order invoice. Mail to:
